Hi there and welcome back. Well, it's that time of the year again. And, as exciting and looked forward to planning for my Winter Adventure (November through April) was, this summer's planning (June through October) is as exciting. To get an idea as to how to present it all in this post, I checked back to last year's post at this time and got a good laugh. It's a rerun. My, am I in a routine (rut)...but aren't we all? Here's last May's entry pasted with this year's updates.
- I succeeded in having head-to-toe medical visits as scheduled;
- My Caddy and Winnie were inspected and continue to be road-worthy;
- I savored dinners with family and friends at Sakura in Hastings and at Cosimo's in Poughkeepsie;
- I enjoyed get-togethers/soirees in my complex with good food, good wine, good company and good conversations: deep and varied; Thank you, Stella for my upcoming birthday soiree.
- I took delight once again in watching daughter, Marybeth, begin her Bocce season with league play in Poughkeepsie at Cosimo's squeezing time in between her tennis matches;

- I planned future summer travel from June through October that will include Missouri, Canada, Maine and Lake George. A preview of my travels are listed below;
Hudson Islanders annual Rally at Croton Point Park, June 5 to June 12th
My trip to Branson, Missouri. June 12th to July 6th."Heading to Branson feels like packing for joy and simplicity—with a touch of twang."

Hudson Islanders to Lake George - October 3rd to October 10th.
So there you have it. At least six posts await on the back burner. There are gaps in the dates I plan to fill one way or another but this skeletal outline of future posts under the blog title, Winnie and Me 2025, will keep me focused. I'm purposely posting this blog on the eve of my 83rd birthday; a gentle reminder to enjoy what's left of my travel days. There will come a time when I'll trade mileage for memories--and my memory bank is delightfully full. Safe to say, however, I've got room for lots more. Thanks for taking the time to read. See you in CPP real soon.
